about me

  • My name is Tommy Hedelund, I am a 59 years old man who as a little boy was inspired by my uncle`s traveling adventures, and dreamed about traveling the world. As I grew up I became an entrepeneur and went bankrupt. Loosing my house and everything I owned, made my boy dream to emerge again, turning me in what I am today : a Globetrotter who spent 40 years trevelling in nearly 80 countries. I am still curious and taking on new adventures and learning new languages. One of the most remarkable traveling experiences in my life was to have survived the Tsunami in Khao Lak 2004 tree days in the jungle. I made a difference to many injured people, cleaning there wounds, provide fresh water and inspired with hope. In 2006 I met a very poor lady and her daughter in Madagascar and made a decision of taking care of them. These event has change my view on life and made me believe and hope that we can learn to live together in peace and take better care of our amazing Planet Earth. Welcome to my travel stories.

    I am Nomadic Oldie !
